What they're saying

Listen to what a few chorus members from around the country have to say about being in orgnazations like ours:

I joined the chorus again for 2 reasons: i love to sing and i was hoping to make a new friend or 2 that shared my passion of singing. I hope that is enough info for you. I f not, let me know.Take care

Where else can a small town girl find the bright
lights of Hollywood in her own home town? The Sweet Adelines provides
such an experience for any woman who loves to sing, perform or
entertain, loves glitz, glamour, fun and friends. Along with learning
the musicality of the barbershop style, lifetime friendships are
formed and that sense of belonging one needs is easily appreciated at
any level. There's a loyalty and a sense of pride not only in our
music but our friendships with each other and involvement in our
community and surrounding area. I have been a member for 35+ years and
plan to "grow old" with this fine group.

“I enjoy the fun and fellowship of the ladies, and the beautiful music. Many of the members in my group I have known for years and feel comfortable singing with them. I consider my time with them to be much needed therapy!”
Robin Smith, Tri City Sound Chorus

“I am so happy to have found Sweet Adelines and am telling all my sisters about the fun we have and the lovely ladies I have met so far.”

Cindy Phair, Suncoast Harmony Chapter

“I wish I had done it 20 years ago.”
Rosemary Trimpe, Grand Rapids Chorus

”Singing is the best therapy for lifting spirits. The music creates a positive healing flow of energy from one person to another and it is a very powerful tool in creating stable mental and physical health. Music is known to reduce stress and balance the spirit.”
Susan Swertfager, South Valley Sound Chorus

“I'm a part of an awesome group of ladies. They work really hard at each rehearsal, but they have so much fun at the same time.”
Patti Bade, Spirit of Harmony Chorus
